Anshun Visages is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the skilled artisans of our namesake city in China. We provide a global platform for their carefully handmade products, which embody the rich cultural heritage of our community. Our mission is to serve as a bridge between Anshun and the world, sharing our stories and culture to ensure these traditional arts gain the recognition they deserve. Anshun （安顺）
"Anshun" means peaceful and calm in Chinese. Known for its moderate climate, Anshun is seated between round mountains that remain green for most of the year. It looks just like a rainy and wet city, and nothing is more beautiful than the green trees and gray streets of Anshun beneath a clouded sky.
The Shop
Our online shop offers a variety of handmade items, from delicate silver jewelry inspired by the Miao culture to hand-drawn Batik from the Miao and Buyi ethnic groups.
If you came here after buying from our shop in off-line events, thank you for your purchases! The profits made will all go to a batik "factory" in Anshun (the air quotes because it is a very peaceful space with seven kind grandmas). Check this link for more:
